Perspectives (2019) - Duration: 7 min

    IV. No robes, no angels

Written for two marimbas and mezzo-soprano, this piece is based on the poem "Family Romance" by Dr. Ryan Guth, a former English professor of mine. Just as the text is provides two perspectives of the same event, the piece explores the aspects of music with inherent duality as well. It was composed for specific performance at UT Martin in the fall of 2020. Completed in November, 2019

Tennessee Triptik (2019) - Duration: 14 min

Commissioned by the LCD Trio of the University of Tennessee at Martin, this piece was composed for specific performance in Knoxville, TN at the International Clarinet Association's annual ClarinetFest in summer 2019. In three movements for Flute, Bb Clarinet, Baritone Sax, and accompanying Drum Set, the piece blends various popular TN styles from across the state. Completed in February, 2019


Pastorale (2018) - Duration: 6 min

Commissioned by the University Trio at the University of Tennessee at Martin, this piece was composed for specific performance by an instrumentation of alto flute, Bb clarinet, and piano. It was written between December 2017 and January 2018 and was premiered at UTM on April 3, 2018. It was performed internationally at the NACWPI/College Music Society Conference in Vancouver, Canada on Saturday, October 13, 2018

Composed for specific performance by the LCD Trio (flute, oboe, and bass clarinet), this piece was done in collaboration with the UT Martin Visual and Theatre Arts department. This work was written between October, 2016 and January, 2017, and was premiered on February 25, 2017 at the University of Tennessee at Martin

A single-movement work for chamber ensemble composed for specific performance by the PRIZM chamber ensemble of Memphis, TN.  Instrumentation includes oboe, viola, and piano. Premiered April 2, 2012

Commissioned by Caitlyn King, this work for chamber ensemble was written for clarinet quartet, percussion, and piano. This work was written during the summer of 2017 and was premiered on October 1st, 2017 at the University of Tennessee at Martin

​A series of short pieces for varied instrumentation and voice that were composed for a sci-fi fantasy concept project. Composed between the spring of 2015 and the fall of 2016

A series of versatile string quintet settings with obligatos for hymns. Commissioned by Concordia Lutheran Church in Jackson, TN for their Christmas services in December of 2015

A four movement work for string quartet that was inspired in part by a trip to Yellowstone National Park in May of 2013. Composed August-October 2013.  Premiered at the New Sounds concert at the University of Memphis on November 27, 2013

First movement of a collaborative work entitled "Nexus [Connections]" that was written for specific performance by Milwaukee's Present Music chamber ensemble.  Collaborating composers include Yunus Gencer and Jonathan Glisson. Premiered on February 18, 2013 at the University of Memphis

​Dissertation work for chamber orchestra and choir, this full-scale requiem setting was in partial fulfillment of the degree of Doctor of Musical Arts at the University of Memphis and was completed in January of 2015.


Symphony for a Second Earth (2011) - Duration: 12 min

​Large-scale work for 24 part orchestra and choir (text is in English and is based upon the poem "Remember" by Christina Rossetti)
